Now in its 9th year, Moniker Art Fair aims to spotlight emerging and established talent from a burgeoning and increasingly diverse contemporary art movement forged by its subversive and innovative spirit. Moniker Art Fair attracts some of the most talked about artists, galleries and collectors from the finer side of the street art movement and its related subcultures.

Moniker rallies against the familiar grind of the art fair season with a curated, experiential and immersive focus, creating unique settings for the display of artists and their work. With a proven track record of delivering a rich and varied program, the fair has grown significantly since its inception both in terms of audience and relevance.

Creative Debuts is a platform based in London which celebrates the brightest emerging artists and designers from around the world. Born out of frustration, their aim is to make art more accessible and to tackle the hurdles faced by undiscovered creatives. At Moniker, they present a unique roster of emerging African artists, many presenting in the USA for the first time.

For the Moniker Art Fair, Taezoo Park partnered up with Faith XLVII to create a collaborative installation which merges two of their individual new media projects resulting in a powerful reflection on the intimate reflection of our inner world and world of technology.

Taezoo’s ’TV Being 010’ and Faith’s ‘Upper Atmospheric Lightning’ are two multi-screen installations that this new work is based on. Through symbolic visual imagery, the narratives explore inner worlds and digital codes, questioning our innate connectivity. The separate visuals play simultaneously to form one chaotic yet collective whole, woven together to craft a haunting and ethereal narrative. The merging of the two explorations offers a unique look at the symbiotic relationship between the emotional intimacy of man and the hidden digital soul of the machine.

Taezoo’s Digital Being is created by discarded and forgotten technology while Faith’s multiple impressions were created on Faith XLVII’s travels with various collaborators; Dane Dodds, Inka Kendzia, Jess X Chen, Zane Meyer and Simone Rademeyer.

COX Gallery has since 2015 dedicated itself to exhibiting and championing urban contemporary art from its gallery in Bordeaux. Founder and director Laurent Tritschler has diverted his attentions to street artists whose styles and creative processes blend, clash and combine to present an exclusive panorama of current movement.

Artists of international renown hang alongside emerging talents, creating unique artworks swinging between urban influences and more distant inspirations; figuration and abstraction; spontaneity and search for perfection.
